August 2025, Chamonix. I had the privilege of following Marine Quintard during her remarkable victory at the MCC, one of the opening races of the UTMB Mont-Blanc.

An intense 40 km course with 2300 meters of elevation gain, from Martigny to Chamonix — a true playground for complete mountain runners.

As an outdoor photographer, I accompanied Marine throughout the day: from the first climbs bathed in the Swiss morning light to the final moments under the cheers of Chamonix’s crowd.

Capturing her race meant telling an inner story — focus, rhythm, resilience, release at the summit, and the raw emotion of the finish line.

Each image aimed to reflect that balance between power and grace, between athletic precision and mountain light.
